Impact test

Impact test

  [Project Introduction]

This test is usually mainly used to simulate the free impact and drop that transport packages may encounter during handling, and to examine the packaging's ability to resist unexpected impacts. Generally, the drop height is mostly based on the packaging weight and the possible drop probability as reference standards. The drop surface should be a smooth, hard and rigid surface made of concrete or steel (if there are special requirements, they should be determined according to the product specifications or customer testing standards). For different international standards, even if the product is of the same weight, the drop height may vary.

  [Test Reference Standard]

  GB/T 4857.5, ISO 2248, ASTM D5276, GB/T 4857.11, ISTA, IEC60068, GB/T2423.8, etc.

  [Equipment Parameters]

  Maximum load: 500Kg

  Maximum drop height: 1000mm

  Inclined plane impact test

  [Project Introduction]

The inclined plane impact test is similar to the drop test. If the product cannot undergo the drop test, this test can be used as a substitute. It is suitable for conducting tests on large, containerized or irregularly packaged items. The severity of the test depends on the direction of the impact, the impact speed and the number of impacts.
